What is Kaleidoscope?
A real kaleidoscope made out of your own camera picture. The screen is cut into six mirrored wedges that all meet in the middle, so whatever the camera can see is repeated and flipped six times around the centre point. Move a hand slowly across the frame and the classic symmetrical flower pattern blooms out of it; move fast and the whole screen churns. Bright colors work best — a scarf, a toy, a striped jumper — because the pattern is built out of whatever you hold up to the lens. No score and no timer, so it runs as long as you like. VIVID mode adds a slow continuous rotation, so the pattern keeps turning even when you hold still.
