What is Ripples?
A still, deep indigo pool. Every time you move, a drop lands at that exact point and a ring spreads out from it and fades over a couple of seconds, with a second fainter ring inside it so it reads like a real spreading wave rather than a drawn circle. Keep moving and the rings overlap and cross one another the way rain does on a puddle. There is no score and no timer, and it is about as calm as the scenes here get — the usual use is background, wind-down, or a child who wants something to fiddle with that answers back. It is also one of the lightest scenes to run, so it stays smooth on an older laptop.
